Down to busy-ness

A Little Update from the (Busy) Desk of BiblioJo It’s been a little while since I’ve written, though not for lack of things happening. From the Western Research Forum to planning the upcoming Research Symposium, and a steady stream of RIMS presentations, support, and conversations, the past few weeks have been full in the best kind of way. I’ve been spending a lot of time helping researchers connect the dots between their work, their profiles, and the systems that help make that work visible. There’s something really satisfying about that kind of work. It’s not always flashy, but it matters. It’s about building bridges between people, platforms, and ideas, and helping research find its way into the world. Outside the library, things have been just as lively. Lots of trumpet, a bit of percussion, rehearsals, and performances, including some especially meaningful time playing in retirement homes. Music has a way of connecting people instantly, and it’s been a joy to be part of that. So yes, busy. But also energizing, creative, and full of good people and good work. making buttons for Day of DH
